My oldest has always loved coming into the kitchen and experimenting with recipes and making delicious food and drinks. As a toddler, I used to sit him on the counter and let him smell the spices, essential oils and herbs in the cupboard, telling him their names. I am seeing now, that it was a big influence in how he creates his recipes. He has a great sense of what goes together, and we have enjoyed many delicious concoctions over the years.
