Easy and Just as Delicious Seasoned Ground Meat Recipe
When you have all that wonderful ground meat sitting in your freezer and you want to flavor it yourself, having a fool proof and tasty recipe that is oh so easy and every one loves, is a win win!
This is my go-to recipe for seasoning most of my meat.
It is the perfect recipe for meat that you are adding to your spaghetti sauce, chili, stir fry, ground beef pot pie, and just about any recipe that needs seasoned ground meat added to it.
Last night, I cooked up a pound of this meat recipe as a side to go with the rest of dinner, and my husband declared it “excellent!”
1 Lb. of ground beef or other meat (turkey, pork, venison)
3/4-1 t. salt
Ground pepper to taste
Garlic powder to taste
optional: Paprika to taste (I love smoked Paprika, but the regular tastes just fine.)
For a little more pizzaz, add some chopped onions, or chopped green onions for color and a little extra flavor.
Cook the meat in a frying pan on low to medium heat, chopping up as it cooks. Add all ingredients and stir in as the meat cooks. You can also use solidly frozen meat. Just add the other ingredients when the meat is mostly thawed and broken apart in the pan as it has been cooking. Stir ingredients into the meat well and finish cooking.
And there you have it! This is so delicious and just as easy.
